The Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria is one of the Apostolic Oriental Orthodox Churches, and the Syrian, Armenian, Ethiopian, Eritrean, and the Malankara Indian Orthodox Churches have long time been stigmatized, disparaged, and falsely accused of holding the heretical Christological theology of Eutyches i.e. Eutchianism otherwise known as "monophysitism."
