| St. Karas lived in the late years of the fifth century and the beginning of the sixth century. He was the brother of King Theodosius the great. The great St. Karas led a pure life in the company of Angels, in the Western mountain of scetis. He stayed there 57 years interacting with the Lord. May we learn from St. Karas how to spend that quality time with God away from the world. May his prayers be with us and Glory be to God Forever, amen.
