An old proverb says, "When you sup with the devil, use a long spoon" Presumably, no genuine Christian would want to sup with the devil at all and yet many may be doing so in ignorance. Halloween is the second most celebrated day in America--second only to Christmas. Americans are accustomed to witches, ghosts, hobgoblins, black cats, fairies, skeletons, demons and all sorts of Halloween characters knocking at their doors, hollering "trick or treat". It is the only day of year we give free food to strangers. With all this hoopla, many people view Halloween as a time of innocent fun. But there is a darker side to Halloween that shocks the conscience of Christians unfamiliar with its history. It is perhaps one of the most evil nights of the year. This book gives us a better understanding of this evil.
