The Disconnected Generation
Our Kids are crying out for a relational connection. Parents, youth workers, and Christian leaders are desperately seeking more effective ways to counter today's culture that threatens to undermine their young peoples faith and moral values. Adults truly care about their kids, but often struggle to enter the sometimes complex and confusing world of their youth to relationally connect. And research shows that when kids feel disconnected from adults, especially their parents, their time spent in church, Bible reading, and prayer drops dramatically, while acceptance of premarital sex and dissatisfaction with life doubles.
